Greetings.
I am deeply honored and humbled to serve as the National President of the Conference of Minority Public Administrators (COMPA) and to share this journey with you. Every member ofthis organization is an ambassador and representative of the public service community. As weenter this new stage in COMPA’s history, I am inspired by the energy that each of you can bringfrom around the country to ELEVATE COMPA. I am mindful that COMPA will add to yourabilities to enhance and move public service forward. Similarly, I am confident you will addsignificant value to COMPA for the better.
In the days ahead, I will remind you that the mission of COMPA is to serve and assist publicadministrators, students and other professionals involved in public service. I strongly encourage each of you to stay focused on our nation, beyond your spheres of influence.Collectively, we must embrace the responsibility that is needed to make meaningful and positive change. I believe that each member of this community has an essential role to play inbuilding better, stronger and more resilient communities, and I remain optimistic about whatwe can and will accomplish together under this administration and beyond.
