On behalf of the President, the Executive Committee of the Conference of Minority Public Administrators (COMPA) and the Career & Internship Fair Committee, We cordially invite your organization to participate in COMPA’s inaugural recruitment fair for interns and new professionals .


The Career & Internship fair will be held during the 49th COMPA conference hosted February 26-29, 2020 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Peachtree City, GA. The conference theme is "2020 Vision: Refocusing, Reforming & Restoring Public Service Values and Governance." This event presents a great opportunity for your agency to recruit students and young professionals for both internship opportunities and/or current and future employment openings.

Waiver & Release: By registering for this meeting, I acknowledge and assume all risks associated with participation in the meeting and any associated events/activities (e.g. COMPA President’s Reception) for myself and any guests, including without limitation any slips and falls. I hereby knowingly waive and release (for myself and any guests) COMPA, its employees, directors, officers, volunteers, agents, successors, licensees, assigns, vendors and sponsors from any and all claims, liabilities, or causes of actions, including without limitation, death, bodily injury, property damage, or any other loss, damage, or any inconvenience whatsoever, arising from participation in this meeting and any associated events/activities whether or not such damage, injury, or loss may occur on the premises of the meeting, at off-site venues, in participating hotels or on event ground transportation. I also hereby knowingly waive and release COMPA, its employees, directors, officers, volunteers, agents, successors, licensees, assigns, vendors and sponsors from any and all claims that I or any of my guests may have or may arise regarding the use of my name and image, including any and all claims of defamation, invasion of privacy, or infringement of moral rights, rights of publicity or copyright. Right to use name and likeness: in consideration for my and any of my guests’, participation in COMPA’s meeting, I hereby grant COMPA the perpetual, world-wide, royalty-free right and permission to record, photograph, use and distribute (royalty-free, both now and in the future) my and my guests’ image, name, and voice in all forms and all media including, without limitation, photographs, electronic reproductions and transmission of images and audio files, web-casting, and any and all other uses on the internet for any and all COMPA’s lawful purposes. Cancellation Policy: Refund of conference registration fee, less an administrative fee of $75 will be made if a written notice of cancellation is postmarked no later than January 31, 2020. Cancellation requests postmarked between February 1, 2020 and February 25, 2020 will be subject to an administrative fee equal to one-half of the registration fee this applies to all registration types. REFUND REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED for cancellations received after February 26, 2020 or for “no-shows”. Sorry, we are unable to accept telephone confirmations.
